VESTAS FINLAND OY HAS ORDERED 110 KV TRANSMISSION LINE FROM TMV LINE OY
TMV Line Oy from Ylivieska is building 110 kV transmission line Jylkkä-Pahkamaa for Mutkalampi wind park. The transmission line will start from Fingrid Oyj Jylkkä 400/110 kV substation in Kalajoki via Alavieska to Kannus.
Mutkalampi wind park is owned by Neoen and the transmission line project is included in contract of wind mill manufacturer Vestas, which supplies the whole infra, including wind turbines and construction of infrastructure. TMV Line Oy's delivery includes the removal of trees, all design work and construction work of foundations, pre-assembly and erections of towers and installation of conductors.
The transmission line passes through the lands of about 150 landowners with whom an agreement has been made on a wood cutting and the usage of a transmission line. The construction works started with removal of trees in December 2020 and the works will be completed in March 2022.
A total of 6 Vestas V150-4.2 MW power plants and 63 Vestas V162-6.0 MW power plants will be added to Mutkalampi wind park. Neoen, the owner of the wind farm, has signed a long-term electricity sales agreement with Google (125 MW) and a Dutch consortium involving Heineken, Nobian, Philips and Signify (126 MW).
The TMV company is currently running more than 100 km of 110 kV transmission line projects. In addition, the construction of the Alajärvi 400/110/20 kV substation, Simojoki 110 kV and Palojärvi 110 kV substation projects are underway. In total, the Group's order backlog is nearly EUR 40 million. The Group employs a total of 60 people and a similar number of subcontractors.
