Wind power is clean, renewable, and domestic energy. Wind farms have many positive impacts on local economies as well, as the property tax, land lease and job creation from the power plants contribute revenue to the municipality. At the same time, the municipality reduces its carbon footprint and enhances overall energy self-sufficiency. TM Voima's projects are primarily located in the Northern Ostrobothnia region, where wind conditions are favorable.
TM Voima Oy has developed wind power projects with a total capacity of approximately 123.3 MW. Totally TM Voima's projects generate around 380 GWh of clean and domestic energy annually. Approximately 200 million euros have been invested in these projects between 2014 and 2023. Some of the projects already in operation are: Pajukoski Wind Park (9x3.3 MW) in Ylivieska, Kytölä (6x3.3 MW) and Saarenkylä Wind Park (9x3.3 MW) in Alavieska, and the Puutikankare Wind Park (8x5.5 MW) in Sievi.

TMV Green is an energy company specializing in planning and constructing renewable energy projects in Estonia. TMV Green began its development work on wind power projects in 2020 and is currently involved in several wind power projects. In the future TMV Green aims to develop hybrid projects that combine wind power, solar power, energy storage, and potentially hydrogen production.
